Cassie and I started Phillips Winery and Vineyards Services Ltd. in 2015 and have been expanding ever since!  For the last several years I have been the Grapevine Sales Representative for Vinetech Canada in British Columbia, and as of 2018, I have taken over as the Technical Sales Representative for R & J Oenology representing Oenofrance and Martin Vialatte through out BC.

 

We moved to the South Okanagan in 2013 and have been happy to call it our home ever since. We both love being outdoors and have become accustomed to the balmy winters and long summers that the Okanagan has to offer. Both of us grew up in a small village in Southern Alberta and have enjoyed travelling the globe in the chase of new experiences and cultures. When we made our move to the Okanagan, we decided that this is where we would put our roots down. Three years later we were married, started our own business and began planning our future in British Columbia.

About Nathan:

 

I graduated with an Honors Degree in Viticulture and Oenology from Brock University in 2011. Since then, I have gained experience all over the world working in New Zealand, South Africa, Ontario and for some of the top Wineries in BC in Oenology and Viticultural roles. Over the past 11 years, I have gained a great appreciation for the impact on wine quality of planting heathy vine material and of clone and rootstock selection. I also enjoy time in the vineyard, scouting, mapping and sourcing much of the budwood that winds up in vineyards across BC. This allows me to speak to the health status of our material sources. I couldn’t be more excited to be involved in the ever-growing BC wine industry as it strives to be one of the best wine growing regions in the world.
